Lipozene Side Effects – Is It Safe
Lipozene is a fairly new diet pill that claims to be able to reduce the amount of body fat a person has without any sort of lipozene side effects lifestyle change or loss of muscle. Their claim is that these fat burning diet pills are filled with fiber, making the consumer feel fuller for longer, resulting in loss of body fat without losing muscle mass. While these pills may help you lose weight, are they really healthy for you and do they really work as they claim to?
Numerous complaints have been made by consumers that have tried Lipozene in losing weight. These complaints consist of negative results such as stomach pain, nausea, diarrhea, bloating, muscle aches, chest pain, and excessive gas in the stomach. Some more serious side effect claims have included difficulty swallowing, allergic reaction, blood sugar level changes, and very severe diarrhea which can result in dehydration.
The makers of Lipozene dispute these claims by saying that none of these are true, but would they really admit to them if they were true? The Lipozene website states that there are “no known side effects” and that their product is 100% natural. Even though this may be true that the ingredients are all natural, that does not mean that natural ingredients can not have negative effects on your health.
A professor of nutritional sciences at the University of Toronto states that the 20 – 30 milligrams of glucomannon, which is the main ingredient of Lipozene, can cause severe gastrointestinal distress. Glucomannon is a dietary fiber that is also used as a thickener in food. The FDA has not approved of any product containing glucomannon for use as a weight loss aid or for the treatment of any obesity effects such as diabetes, high cholesterol, or constipation. The Federal Trade Commission has also stated that there is not enough substantial evidence that any product containing glucomannon will have an effect on weight loss
Apart from the adverse effects claims, other consumers have complained of the high price of these pills, credit cards being charged during the “free trial”, and problems of getting their money back despite the money back guarantee that the makers of Lipozene offer.
As a consumer, it is up to you to research a weight loss product and decide if the possible effects you may experience are worth risking for a little bit of weight reduction.
